1st: Initial Benefit Eligibility Review Process

• Review assessment observations, certification decision and/or other available information for eligibility determination.

• If applicable, review provider to see if they meet the requirements of the policy.

2nd: Initial Benefit Eligibility Determined

• We will communicate our decision to you of whether you and your provider, if applicable, meet the eligibility requirements of your contract.

Next Step: Ongoing Eligibility

• Invoices are reviewed for coverable services and then your claim is routed to Ongoing Eligibility Servicing Team.

What to expect from us?

• If approved, Genworth will communicate your initial eligibility with you.

• Once you and your provider have met your qualifications of policy or certificate for payment purposes, your claim will be moved to Ongoing Eligibility Servicing Team.

• If our review determines that you or your provider are not eligible, we will inform you of this decision. You may consider filing a claim at a later time.

What do we expect of you?

• Invoicing for any care provided including care notes, and ongoing medical records, as may be requested.
